Simi Sethi O.D. F.A.A.O
Dr. Simi Sethi is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of California, Sandiego. She attained her optometric degree at the New England College of Optometry, where she was awarded honors in her clinical rotations.
She is one of the fewer than 5% of optometrists nationwide that have completed a hospital-based residency in ocular disease. During her externships and residency at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Maryland, Dr. Sethi received extensive training in various specialties including: glaucoma, retina, cornea, neurology, pediatric eye care, and refractive surgery, as well as preoperative and postoperative surgical care. In addition to membership in the American Academy of Optometry and American Optometric Association, Dr. Sethi has participated as a clinical investigator in national research studies and is a frequent lecturer on eye disease. Recently Dr. Simi Sethi completed written case studies and an oral examination to attain the certification of "Fellowship" in the American Academy of Optometry. Less than 10% of optometric physicians are currently fellows in this prestigious organization. |
Malay Pansheria O.D.
Malay Pansheria, O.D. completed his degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2015 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University. He has had extensive training in primary care, pediatrics, retina, low vision, glaucoma, dry eyes, contact lens, ocular emergencies and pre/post operative care from multiple private practices and hospitals including Virginia Eye Consultants and Ralph A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC.
In July 2015, Dr. Pansheria joined Family Vision Care and sees patients of all ages. His practice entails doing comprehensive and contact lens exams as well as diagnosing and managing diseases such as glaucoma, corneal disease, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Dr. Pansheria grew up in Atlantic City, NJ and enjoys the outdoors, running, painting, reading and spending time with friends and family. |
